How to setup a Horizen Secure or Super Node on Allnodes

Horizen (ZEN) Secure & Super Node Hosting

A Horizen Secure or Super Node can be hosted with Ledger, Horizen Core, Sphere, Arizen, or Swing wallets.


Instructions for Ledger (through Ledger Live):

  1. Connect your Ledger wallet to your computer and open the Horizen app on it.
    If you already have required collateral in your wallet, start at step 8.

  2. Open the Ledger Live app and press the "Accounts" tab.

  3. Press the "Add account" button, select Horizen, and press the "Continue" button.

  4. Press the "Add account" button, then the "Done" button.

  5. Click on your account, press the "Manage" button, and select the "Receive" menu.

  6. Press the "Continue" button and copy your address.

  7. Send collateral to your address.
    You can use 42 ZEN (Secure Node) and 500 ZEN (Super Node) as collateral.

  8. Select the "Ledger" wallet here: https://www.allnodes.com/zen/host

  9. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for the Horizen Core, Sphere, Arizen, and Swing wallets:

  1. Download and install any supported desktop wallet from the official website: https://www.horizen.io/wallets

  2. Send collateral to your address.
    You can use 42 ZEN (Secure Node) and 500 ZEN (Super Node) as collateral.

  3. Select your wallet type here: https://www.allnodes.com/zen/host

  4. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.
