An Avalanche Validator Node can be hosted with a Ledger or Core wallet.

It is possible to migrate a node to Allnodes with your previous NodeID.

Please note that wallet.avax.network has been officially discontinued and is no longer maintained. Users can now access all their validating and delegating needs via the Core.app.

Instructions for Ledger (through the Core Wallet):

  1. Connect your Ledger wallet to your computer and open the Avalanche app on it.

  2. Open the official Avalanche Wallet: https://core.app
If you already have AVAX in your wallet you can start from Step 5.

  3. Copy the address to receive funds. Your address can be found to the right of your QR code.

  4. Send at least 2001 AVAX to your address.
1 AVAX is required to cover the costs of setup transactions.

  5. Select the "Ledger" option here: https://www.allnodes.com/avax/host

  6. Choose to host a new node or migrate with the old NodeID.

  7. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.
