The AVAX coins that you stake can be held in Ledger or Avalanche wallet.

Instructions for Ledger (through the Avalanche wallet):

  1. Connect the Ledger wallet to your computer and open the Avalanche app on it.
    ​If you already have at least 25.1 AVAX in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Open the official Avalanche Wallet: https://wallet.avax.network

  3. Copy the address to receive funds. It can be found to the right of "Collectibles."

  4. Send at least 25.1 AVAX to that address.
    ​0.1 AVAX is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Select the "Ledger" wallet here: https://www.allnodes.com/avax/stake

  6. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.
