How to stake CRO on Cronos POS Chain

Cronos POS Chain (CRO) Staking

The CRO coins that you stake can be held in Ledger, Keplr, Crypto.com DeFi, or Crypto.org Chain Desktop wallets.

The unbonding period is 28 days.

Instructions for Ledger (through Keplr):

  1. Download and install the Keplr extension for Chrome: https://www.keplr.app
    If you already have at least 1.1 CRO in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Import your Ledger account by selecting the "Import ledger" option.
    Cosmos Ledger app must be installed and opened.

  3. Click on the "Cosmos Hub" dropdown and switch to the "Crypto.org" network.

  4. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 CRO there.
    0.1 CRO is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Select the "Ledger" wallet and the "Cosmos app" here: https://www.allnodes.com/cro/stake

  6. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for Ledger (through the Crypto.org Chain Desktop Wallet):

  1. Download and install the Crypto.org Chain Desktop wallet from the official GitHub: https://github.com/crypto-com/chain-desktop-wallet/releases
    If you already have at least 1.1 CRO in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Connect your Ledger wallet and open the Crypto.org Chain app on it.

  3. Press the "Get started" button, choose your app password, and press the "Create App Password" button.

  4. Select “Create wallet" and follow further wallet instructions.

  5. Open the "Receive" tab, copy your address, and send at least 1.1 CRO there.
    0.1 CRO is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  6. Select the "Ledger" wallet and the "Crypto.org Chain app" here: https://www.allnodes.com/cro/stake

  7. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for the Keplr wallet:

  1. Download and install the Keplr extension for Chrome: https://www.keplr.app
    If you already have at least 1.1 CRO in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Create a new account or import an account from mnemonic.

  3. Click on the "Cosmos" dropdown and switch to the "Crypto.org" network.

  4. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 CRO there.
    0.1 CRO is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Select the "Keplr" wallet here: https://www.allnodes.com/cro/stake

  6. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet:

  1. Download and install the Crypto.com DeFi wallet from the official website: https://crypto.com/defi-wallet
    If you already have at least 1.1 CRO in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Create your wallet and press the "Receive" button.

  3. Select the Cronos coin, open the "Network" dropdown and select the "Crypto.org" chain network.

  4. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 CRO there.
    0.1 CRO is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Open the "Earn" tab and find the CRO token in list.

  6. Click on the CRO token, switch from "Cronos Beta" to the "Crypto.org" supported network and press the "Confirm" button.

  7. Click on the "CRO Staking" option.

  8. Select the amount CRO you want to stake and press on the "Stake CRO" button.

  9. Search for the Allnodes validator node, select it and press the "Confirm Validator" button.

  10. Press the "Confirm Stake" button

  11. Enjoy your CRO staking rewards with Non-Custodial Staking from Allnodes.


Instructions for the Crypto.org Chain Desktop wallet:

  1. Download and install the Crypto.org Chain Desktop wallet from the official GitHub: https://github.com/crypto-com/chain-desktop-wallet/releases
    If you already have at least 1.1 CRO in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Press the "Get started" button, choose your app password, and press the "Create App Password" button.

  3. Select “Create wallet” or "Restore wallet" and follow further wallet instructions.

  4. Open the "Receive" tab, copy your address, and send at least 1.1 CRO there.
    0.1 CRO is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Open the "Staking" tab and select the "Delegate funds" tab.

  6. Insert our validator address crocncl1u5ryf5jwc2jhd9xyvmasfqzacxp03v8dcj8xry, select the amount you want to delegate, and press the "Review" button.

  7. Insert your app password, press the "Decrypt wallet" button, and press the "Continue" button.

  8. Press the "Confirm" button.

  9. Enjoy your CRO staking rewards with Non-Custodial Staking from Allnodes.
