How to setup a Symbol Harvester Node on Allnodes

Symbol (XYM) Harvester Node Hosting

A Symbol Harvester Node can be hosted with Ledger or Symbol Desktop wallet.

Instructions for the Ledger wallet (through the Symbol Desktop wallet):

  1. Download and install the Symbol Desktop wallet from the official GitHub: https://github.com/symbol/desktop-wallet/releases
    ​If you already have at least 10,012 XYM in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Login under your current profile, or create a new profile by selecting the "Access Ledger" option.

  3. Open the "Accounts" tab and copy your address.

  4. Send at least 10,012 XYM to your wallet address.
    ​12 XYM is required to cover the initial and future transaction costs associated with your multisig address.

  5. Insert your collateral address here: https://www.allnodes.com/xym/host

  6. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.
