How to stake SOL on Solana blockchain

Solana (SOL) Staking

The SOL coins that you stake can be held in Ledger, SolFlare, Phantom or Trust wallets.

The unbonding period is 2 days.

Instructions for Ledger (through SolFlare):

  1. Open the SolFlare web wallet: https://solflare.com
    If you already have at least 1.1 SOL in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Connect your Ledger wallet to your computer and open the Solana app on it.

  3. Press the "ACCESS A WALLET" button, select the "Using Ledger Nano S | Ledger Nano X" tab, and follow further instructions to get access to your wallet dashboard.

  4. Copy your address and send at least 1.1 SOL to that address.
    0.1 SOL is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Press the "Get Started" orange button to create a staking account in your wallet.

  6. Insert the amount you want to stake and press the "NEXT >" button.

  7. Confirm transaction on your Ledger wallet.

  8. Wait until your staking account is created and press the "Finish" button.

  9. Open the "Staking" tab and select the "Native SOL Staking" option.

  10. Find your staking account, and press the "DELEGATE NOW" button.

  11. Select the "Allnodes" validator and press the "NEXT >" button.

  12. Confirm the transaction with your Ledger.

  13. Enjoy your SOL staking rewards with Non-Custodial Staking from Allnodes.
    While we are a non-custodial service, when staking, technically your coins will be removed from your wallet.


Instructions for SolFlare:

  1. Open the SolFlare web wallet: https://solflare.com
    If you already have at least 1.1 SOL in your wallet, start at step 4.

  2. Press the "ACCESS A WALLET" button and upload your keystore file.

  3. Copy your address and send at least 1.1 SOL to that address.
    0.1 SOL is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  4. Press the "Get Started" orange button to create a staking account in your wallet.

  5. Select the amount you want to stake and press the "NEXT >" button.

  6. Insert your wallet's password and press the "SUBMIT >" button.

  7. Wait until your staking account is created and press the "Finish" button.

  8. Open the "Staking" tab and select the "Native SOL Staking" option.

  9. Find your staking account, and press the "DELEGATE NOW" button.

  10. Select the "Allnodes" validator and press the "NEXT >" button.

  11. Insert your wallet's password and press the "SUBMIT >" button.

  12. Enjoy your SOL staking rewards with Non-Custodial Staking from Allnodes.
    While we are a non-custodial service, when staking, technically your coins will be removed from your wallet.


Instructions for the Trust wallet:

  1. Download and install the Trust wallet: https://trustwallet.com
    If you already have at least 1.1 SOL in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Press the "Add Tokens" button and add "Solana" to the list.

  3. Select Solana in the list and click on the "Receive" button.

  4. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 SOL there.
    0.1 SOL is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Press the "Done" button and click on the "Stake" button on this and the next screen.

  6. Click on the currently selected validator and change it to Allnodes.

  7. Select the SOL amount that you want to stake and press the "Next" button.

  8. Press the "Send" button to start delegation.

  9. Enjoy your SOL staking rewards with Non-Custodial Staking from Allnodes.
    While we are a non-custodial service, when staking, technically your coins will be removed from your wallet.


Instructions for the Phantom wallet:

  1. Download and install the Phantom extension for Chrome: https://phantom.app/
    If you already have at least 1.1 SOL in your wallet, start at step 4.

  2. Create a new account or import an account from mnemonic.

  3. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 SOL there.
    0.1 SOL is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  4. Select the "Phantom" wallet here: https://www.allnodes.com/sol/stake

  5. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


How to unstake your SOL:

From your Allnodes portfolio dashboard, click the three dots menu (...), then select the "Deactivate" button. You will need to connect with the wallet that owns the stake. Once done, it takes one epoch to deactivate your stake (approximately 2-3 days). After your stake has been successfully deactivated, you can withdraw it by clicking the "Undelegate" button in the three dots (...) menu.
