How to stake MAP on MAP Protocol

MAP Protocol (MAP) Staking

The MAP coins that you stake can be held in Ledger, Trezor, or MetaMask wallets.

Instructions for Ledger (through MetaMask):

  1. Download and install the MetaMask wallet from the official website: https://metamask.io
    ​If you already have at least 1.1 MAP in your wallet, start at step 9.

  2. Open the "Settings" menu, select "Networks", and press the "Add network" button.

  3. Insert this data in the fields required and press the "Save" button.
    ​Network Name: MAP Mainnet

    WebSite: https://rpc.maplabs.io

    ChainID: 22776
    ​Symbol: MAP

  4. Click on the "Ethereum Mainnet" dropdown and switch to the "MAP Mainnet" network.

  5. Connect your Ledger wallet to your computer and open the Ethereum app on it.

  6. Choose the "Connect Hardware Wallet" option in MetaMask menu, select Ledger and choose your address.

  7. Open your wallet and copy your address.

  8. Send at least 1.1 MAP to your address.
    ​0.1 MAP is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  9. Open this website: https://staking.maplabs.io

  10. Press the "CONNECT WALLET" button and select MetaMask there.

  11. Create "Account" and confirm the transaction with your Ledger.

  12. Press the "Lock" button and select amount that you want to stake.

  13. Press the "CONTINUE" button and confirm your request by pressing the "LOCK" button on the next screen.

  14. Click the "Vote" button and search for the Allnodes validator.

  15. Press the "VOTE FOR" button and select amount you want to delegate.

  16. Press the "CONTINUE" button and and confirm your request by pressing the "VOTE" button on the next screen.

  17. Confirm the transaction with your Ledger.

  18. Enjoy your MAP staking rewards with Non-Custodial Staking from Allnodes.
    ​While we are a non-custodial service, when staking, technically your coins will be from your wallet to staking smart contract.

Instructions for Trezor (through MetaMask):

  1. Download and install the MetaMask wallet from the official website: https://metamask.io
    ​If you already have at least 1.1 MAP in your wallet, start at step 9.

  2. Open the "Settings" menu, select "Networks", and press the "Add network" button.

  3. Insert this data in the fields required and press the "Save" button.

  10. Press the "CONNECT WALLET" button and select MetaMask there.
