How to stake SUI on Sui blockchain

The SUI coins you stake can be held in a SUI, Ledger, or Trust wallets.​

The lockup period is 1 day after you staked your SUI.

Instructions for Ledger (through Sui Wallet):

  1. Download and install the Sui wallet extension for Chrome.
    ​If you already have at least 1.1 SUI in your Ledger Sui account address, start at step 7.

  2. Click on the top right “Menu”, click on “Network”, and then select “Sui Mainnet”.

  3. Connect your Ledger wallet to your computer and open the SUI app.

  4. Connect your Ledger wallet to the SUI wallet. Go to the Sui Wallet, click the “Settings” menu on the top right, click on “Accounts”, and click on “Connect Ledger Wallet”.

  5. Click the Copy button to copy your Ledger Sui account address, and then send at least 1.1 SUI to your Ledger wallet.
    ​​0.1 SUI is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  6. Enable “Blind Signing” in the settings of the SUI app on your Ledger.

  7. Click on “Stake & Earn SUI” in your SUI wallet.

  8. Find “Allnodes” or 0x885c0345bbf4441f39b98caf2295640a4dc3696ee9e8bc68f2101ca5e6f9bbf1 there.

  9. Select the SUI amount you want to stake, click “Stake Now”, and confirm the transaction from your Ledger.

Instructions for the Trust wallet:

  1. Download and install the Trust wallet: https://trustwallet.com
    ​    ​If you already have at least 1.1 SUI in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Press the "Add Tokens" button and add "SUI" to the list.

  3. Select SUI in the list and click on the "Receive" button.

  4. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 SUI there.
    ​0.1 SUI is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Press the "Done" button.

  6. Click the "Stake" button and the “Stake” button on the next screen.

  7. Click on the currently selected validator and change it to Allnodes.

  8. Select the SUI amount you want to stake and press the "Next" button.

  9. Press the "Send" button to start the delegation.

Instructions for the Sui Wallet:

  1. Download and install the Sui wallet extension for Chrome.
    ​If you already have at least 1.1 SUI in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 SUI there.

  3. Click on the top right “Menu”, click on “Network” and then select “Sui Mainnet”.

  4. Click “Stake & Earn SUI” and find “Allnodes” or "0x885c0345bbf4441f39b98caf2295640a4dc3696ee9e8bc68f2101ca5e6f9bbf1" there.

  5. Select the SUI amount you want to stake, and click “Stake Now”, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
