How to stake INJ on Injective blockchain

Injective (INJ) Staking

The INJ coins you stake can be held in Keplr, Ledger, Trezor, Metamask, or Cosmostation wallets.​

The unbonding period is 21 days.


Instructions for Ledger (through Keplr):

  1. Download and install the Keplr extension for Chrome:https://www.keplr.app
    ​If you already have at least 1.1 INJ in your wallet, start at step 5.

  2. Connect your Ledger wallet by selecting “Connect Hardware Wallet” option.
    ​The Cosmos Ledger app must be installed and opened.

  3. Click the "Cosmos Hub" dropdown and switch to the "Injective" network.

  4. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 INJ there.
    ​0.1 INJ is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Select the "Ledger" wallet option and choose “Keplr Wallet Browser Extension” here: https://www.allnodes.com/inj/stake.

  6. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for Ledger (through Metamask):

  1. Download and install the MetaMask wallet from the official website: https://metamask.io
    If you already have at least 1.1 INJ in your wallet, start at step 6.

  2. Connect your Ledger wallet to your computer and open the Ethereum app.

  3. Choose the "Connect Hardware Wallet" option in the MetaMask menu, select Ledger, and choose your address.

  4. Open your wallet and copy your address.

  5. Send at least 1.1 INJ to that address.
    0.1 INJ is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  6. Select "Ledger" wallet and choose “Metamask Browser Extension”.

  7. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for the Keplr wallet:

  1. Download and install the Keplr extension for Chrome: https://www.keplr.app
    If you already have at least 1.1 INJ in your wallet, start at step 7.

  2. Create a new account or import an account from mnemonic.

  3. Click on the "Cosmos Hub" dropdown and switch to the "Injective" network.

  4. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 INJ there.
    0.1 INJ is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  5. Select the "Keplr" wallet option here: https://www.allnodes.com/inj/stake.

  6. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for Trezor (through MetaMask):

  1. Download and install the MetaMask wallet from the official website: https://metamask.io
    If you already have at least 1.1 INJ in your wallet, start at step 6.

  2. Connect your Trezor wallet to your computer.

  3. Choose the "Connect Hardware Wallet" option in MetaMask menu, select Trezor, and choose your address.

  4. Open your wallet and copy your address.

  5. Send at least 1.1 INJ to that address.
    0.1 INJ is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  6. Select the "Trezor" wallet and choose “Metamask Browser Extension” here: https://www.allnodes.com/inj/stake

  7. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for MetaMask:

  1. Download and install the MetaMask wallet from the official website: https://metamask.io
    If you already have at least 1.1 INJ in your wallet, start at step 4.

  2. Open your wallet and copy your address.

  3. Send at least 1.1 INJ to that address.
    0.1 INJ is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  4. Select the “Metamask Wallet Browser Extension”.

  5. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.


Instructions for the Cosmostation wallet:

  1. Download and install the Cosmostation wallet on your mobile phone: https://www.cosmostation.io/wallet
    If you already have at least 1.1 INJ in your wallet, start at step 4.

  2. Create an account and save your mnemonic.

  3. Copy your wallet address and send at least 1.1 INJ there.
    0.1 INJ is required to cover the costs of the initial and future staking transactions.

  4. Select the “Cosmostation wallet”.

  5. Follow further instructions from Allnodes.
